Today’s Top Twitter Tools – Wednesday 15 April
Ready for some mid-week Treats? Okay…
Get this, I found a tool that posts questions on Twitter. If you’re the first to answer, you get US$5. I’m not sure how often they post. But you’ve got to try – and they pay you straight away through PayPal.
We’ve also got Twitterator – this lets you follow a group of people in…one fell swoop. Yep. Then some nice analytic tools for the geeks among us (me included): Tweetvolume and Tmitter. Oh and there’s Crowdstatus. But who cares about that? I’m going to go answer some questions
Twitterator
Want to follow lots of people in one fell swoop? This tool lets you do just that. A Twitter friend list generator if you will.
Twitterblogger rating: 7/10 (function over form)
TweetVolume
With this, you can check how many times a particular word appears on Twitter. You can compare up to five words and see the results in bar graphs. The results were NOT what I thought they would be.
Twitterblogger rating: 8/10
Tmitter
This application determines trends or tendencies based on Twitters’ main timeline. What can we do with it, you ask? You can analyse what’s going on the web, find users with similar opinions or test stuff. Just stuff. Good for researchy-type people.
Twitterblogger rating: 9/10 (analyse this!)
Crowd status
Crowdstatus is made up of crowds, each crowd contains people and each person in the crowd has a status. This means that you can see what everyone’s current status is in a crowd.
Twitterblogger rating: 9/10 (Lovely…)
Twittermethis
Win money – well, a fiver. Just follow Twitter.com/Twittermethis. Then every so often, they’ll ask a question on Twitter, e.g. when was Google launched? Be the first to respond to @twittermethis with the correct answer and you win US$5, paid immediately through PayPal. That’s it. What, you don’t like free money?
Wish I’d thought to include this one in my earlier post!
Twitterblogger rating: I’m not rating this one until I get paid (or until I’m not – if you know what I mean)
Hope you’re all having a great day, tweet soon
P.S. If you do win any money, please let me know www.twitter.com/tinekebright

Please check out TweetBrain, http://TweetBrain.com, which just went live last week.
TweetBrain is a crowdsourcing service powered by the Twitter user community. It facilitates people to ask questions, get answers, and earn money from answering questions posted with a reward. It also greatly increases your reach in the Twitter community well beyond your followers.
